"Congratulations for making one of Loma Linda Academy Athletic Teams! You will have the honor of representing our school to the community. Always remember to treat athletes, coaches and officials with integrity, respect, and good sportsmanship."
To be eligible to play on any team at LLA you have to meet the following requirements.
1. You must have at least a 2.0 G.P.A.
2. You may not have an "F" in any class
3. You must have a passing grade in attendance/conduct and citizenship
The Athletic Department has developed a "Flag System" which allows the athlete, his/her parents, teachers and coaches information regarding the athletes standing in any class.
How the Flag System works:
Every teacher on the LLA High School Campus will receive a team roster for the current Varsity/Junior Varsity Sports. The teachers will directly email Mr. Eggers, the Athletic Director; if a student’s grade drops below a "C-" This will be considered the "YELLOW" flag warning. A student-athlete MUST be placed on a yellow flag before he/she can be placed on a red flag. The student-athlete will be notified along with his/her Parents and coaches. The flag system is on a weekly basis. Therefore the student athlete has one week to bring his/her grade up. If his/her grade remains the same, he/she will remain on yellow flag status. If his/her grade drops to an "F" he/she will be moved to "RED" flag status. Being on red flag status means the student-athlete cannot play in any games until their grade has improved. However, the student-athlete is required to attend practice as they are receiving PE credit.

Note: All forms need to be returned to your coach by your first practice.
