Elementary Junior High High School
The Mirror won all the newspaper awards at the PUC Publication Workshop: Best Newswriting & Best Newspaper.
Tyler Corrales, soon-to-be 10th grader, will be learning about physics at Stanford University. He was accepted into its Education Program for Gifted Youth (EPGY), a summer program for high-school students. His specific course is titled "The Frontiers of Physics."

FELDKAMP/JACOBSON SCHOLARSHIP of $2500 each was awarded to Areli Merodio and Beau Young for the 2013-14 school year.

Professor Andy C. McIntosh, of the University of Leeds, England, gave a well-reasoned, convincing account of Biblical creation to Loma Linda Academy.

CIF-SS playoff games
The boys soccer team will be playing here on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 5:00p.m., as well as our boys basketball team at 7:30p.m. Our girls basketball team will be playing on Feb. 14 at 7:00p.m.
The Junior High entered the American Mathematics Competition without preparation because of time restraints. In spite of this, there were 5 LLA Junior High students to receive merit.
LLA Weekly Open House Mondays
Loma Linda Academy is hosting a weekly open house on Mondays. We welcome parents of prospective students from 8:00 - 4:00. Watch for the yellow signs. Call 909-796-0161 or just drop by for a visit.
Family Volunteer Night - February 23
In preparation for Family Volunteer Night, we are collecting donations throughout campus each week until the event on February 23.
Sunday, February 10 and Monday, February 11. Fun & informative preview of the coming school-year with Live music, prizes given throughout the night.
Survey for LLA
Parent satisfaction is a core ministry value for Loma Linda Academy. We have developed an important survey where your answers can be totally confidential if you wish.
LLA alum, Janna Vassantachart ('08) received top honors for her paper within the National Communication Association's official honor society, Lambda Pi Eta. She presented her paper at the November convention of over 5,000 communicators in Orlando Fla.
Student Joins Wind Ensemble
Sophomore, Andrew Caster, LLA's principal hornist, auditioned and won a spot in the ALL Southern California Band and Orchestra Association Wind Ensemble! Hundreds of young musicians audition per year and very few get into the group.
Varsity Basketball Tournament
Our varsity basketball teams headed up to PUC the weekend of November 30, 2012 for their annual basketball tournament. The girls team is now 4-0, and the boys team is 3-1. Off to a great start!

The Loma Linda Academy Lady Roadrunner Football varsity team ended the season 20-0!
Congratulations Yvonne Bui, senior at Loma Linda Academy who was selected as the only National Merit semi-finalist in the Loma Linda and Redlands area.
At the recent PUC Publication Workshop, Loma Linda Academy was awarded three awards: best newspaper, best news photography and best video yearbook.
The Loma Linda fair was held on Sunday, October 21, 2012. Join us again next year!
The 9/11 Memorial Ceremony was held at the Loma Linda Fire Headquarters on September 11, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. The event featured music from Loma Linda Academy and the unveiling of a steel artifact from Ground Zero honoring the World Trade Center, The Pentagon, & Flight 93.
Sabbath, September 8, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. was a Sabbath Spectacular here on the LLA campus. VBS in one hour. Stories, crafts, snacks, games and music. An opportunity for high school students to lead and interact with the elementary students.
