Varsity Basketball Tournament
Our varsity basketball teams headed up to PUC the weekend of November 30, 2012 for their annual basketball tournament. There were 32 teams in attendance. LLA sent 16 girls and 16 boys. Both our boys and girls teams made it to the championship games Saturday night. The girls defeated Los Angeles Adventist Academy for the win and our boys played a great game but ended up losing in overtime against a stellar team from Rouge Valley. Our student-athletes had a great time visiting the campus (other than the rain) and fellowshipping with other SDA Academies.
The girls team is now 4-0, and the boys team is 3-1. We’re off to a great start!!
