LOMA LINDA ACADEMY - $38,000
Father time is catching up to our fleet of vans. The academy currently owns and operates four Ford passenger vans. The vans are early 2000 models, and are approaching the 150,000 mile mark. With your support, we would like to replace one of our current vans with the Ford Transit 150 10-Passenger Van. This new van would be used on a regular basis to transport our students for athletic competitions, field trips, and many other school related activities.
JUNIOR HIGH & HIGH SCHOOL- $24,000
(Junior High - $12,000 / High School - $12,000)
Mobile Computer Cart with 36 Chromebook Computers for Junior High and High School
(Each campus is requesting one cart, along with 36 Chromebook computers.)
Technology is on the move…literally. The Junior High and High School have each expressed a need for a mobile computer lab to be shared between classrooms. This system will allow students to research, write, publish, and participate in various online activities in the classroom. Student learning will be enhanced with these carts, each loaded with 36 Chromebook computers. The carts are designed to conveniently charge and store computers when they are not in use.
ELEMENTARY - $9,000
Library Furniture for TK-6th grade
The furniture in our elementary library that has served us well for 31 years, needs replacing. New library furniture would be high quality, lightweight, and modern, allowing for improved mobility and storage, in order to more suitably meet everyone’s needs. The library is used on a daily basis for rotation classes and study hall, in addition to a variety of other meetings and events that take place throughout the year.
ARTS - $14,000 (Continued from 2018-19 Impact Fund)
Band Lockers for 5th-12th grade
Thank you to those who contributed to this project last year. Last year, $10,000 was raised toward the completion of this goal. We had to remove our old band lockers that were outdated and unusable. Many were not sized appropriately to fit the variety of instruments that we have. Currently, our instruments are stored on the floor or on temporary shelves until we can meet this need. Obtaining new, instrument-specific lockers would enable us to have an orderly, safe, and aesthetically pleasing way for students to store their instruments.
