Christmas Food Drive

The Christmas Food Drive is a 7-year tradition for Loma Linda Academy’s Junior High. The food drive benefits students in high gang activity areas where house-hold incomes are extremely low. Many students at Curtis Middle School in San Bernardino do not have consistent access to food. Loma Linda Academy’s Junior High joined Curtis Middle School to help alleviate their needs. This year they provided 250 lbs. of rice, 250 lbs. of pinto beans, 50 dozen eggs, 62.5 lbs. of cheese and many canned goods which they assembled into 50 boxes for delivery. “You have touched and blessed so many lives and families,” says Sarah Gapp who started the drive 12 years ago and serves as Vice-Principal at Curtis Middle School.
