Admissions Letter 2 - January 31

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Attached you will find tuition rates for the 2019-2020 school year. The rates look different because Loma Linda Academy, in conjunction with Redlands Adventist Academy and Mesa Grande Academy, has combined tuition and comprehensive fees into a single item for all grade levels. For grades TK-8, we have also combined field trips. This means that families will see a single line item for tuition on their bill that includes comprehensive fees and field trips. This will make it easier for families to plan their monthly budget based on a single tuition amount.

Because the field trips for grades 5 and 6 are more expensive, the tuition amount for those grades is higher than for grades TK-4. Some exceptions from tuition include music tours, varsity sports, school uniforms, sports uniforms or equipment, the Junior High trip to Washington, D.C., mission trips, calculators, supply fees at the high school level, summer school, and credit recovery fees.

We do not want finances to be an obstacle that prevents your child from receiving a Christian education at Loma Linda Academy. We have several sources of tuition aid available. If you think you may need financial assistance, please apply for aid at www.lla.org/aid. The financial aid application requires a $30 fee for Smart Aid. Once you have submitted all requested documents to Smart Aid, please allow three weeks for a decision. The first tuition payment for the 2019-2020 year is due on July 10, 2019. However, we encourage you to pay earlier to increase your chances of a space at Loma Linda Academy for next school year. This year, a few grades did fill up and we regretfully had to turn some families away.
